A certain number of travel scholarships of the value of 700 EUR are available to encourage the participation of students to the Conference. The scholarships cover the registration fees for students (250 EUR), while the rest can be used by the awardee to partly cover travel and living expenses.
The scholarships are awarded by the Organizing Committee to students who are authors or co-authors of a paper accepted for presentation, on the basis of the paper quality and of a curriculum vitae.
Eligibility
To be eligible for a Student Travel Scholarship, you must:

Be a Ph.D. or M.S. student, or equivalent student qualification;

Be the author or the co-author of a paper submitted and accepted for presentation to the Conference;

Apply by December 5th, 2008 (now postponed to December 19th, 2008), using the procedure detailed below.
Application Instructions

Prepare an abstract according to the Conference format (see: For Authors->Abstract and Paper Templates in the web page menu);

Register as an Author and upload the pdf file with your abstract;

Prepare a curriculum vitae (CV), including your current and past studies, qualifications and fields of expertise, a complete list of publications, prizes and honors, etc.;

Convert your CV to the Portable Document Format (PDF) and name the file NameSurname_cv.pdf, where Name and Surname are your first name and surname, respectively;

Log onto the system as an Author, and upload your CV file as if it were an abstract for the Conference;

In the Title section, indicate "Name Surname's CV";

In the Symposium section, choose "Student Travel Scholarship";

You can leave the other sections blank.
